Poem 1
I am a construction worker.i wake up early in the morningwhen the sky is still dark.i have a quick bite and i set off for work at the construction sitePutting on my helmet and saftey gear,I set off for workSlaving at worklifting heavy loadsusing every muscle I am given 20 minutes breakI either rest under a tree or inside the tent.After my lunchi continue my workI do not rest until the clock hits 12Although it is tough,I have no choice as i need to support my familyI am actually given a chance to study in university but because of my familyi had no choice but to accept the fate as being a construction worker

Poem 3
Tittle : Karen the heartless monster.
Karen plagued her mother-in-law's life,as if the old woman was a stranger in her life.Karen never cares for the old woman,and made the old woman sadden.Karen hates the old woman's furniture,and wanted to torture.This monster thinks that the old woman's room is disgusting,and wanted to get rid of the old woman's precious things.This monster did not want to give one of the four rooms away,as she dislike the old woman getting in her way.Karen thinks that the old woman is stupid,a filthy monster and selfish,but she is referring to herself.Karen found a good price for the bed of the old lady,and wanted to sell it to collectors straight already.But the old woman is going to die,
so she decided to discuss it with her husband after the old lady die.=====Comments=====The theme of this poem is to explore how vicious and evil Karen is. She quarreled with her own mother-in-law and wanted to gain control of the whole house. The poem is developed when the ordinary story state that Karen wanted to sell the antique bed of the old women when the old women is dead. She is disrespectful. She would throw the old woman's ancestral tablet out of the window if she could. She is as heartless as a monster as she does not care of the old woman's feelings and plague the old woman's life. This poem tells us that Karen is a bad woman and money is only in her mind. She must get what she wanted and no one must stop her. The poem not only shows how much Karen cares about others. It also shows how sly, cunning and money-minded Karen is when she decided to only tell her husband about the idea of selling the precious old woman's furniture only when the old woman is dead. And this will definitely make Sai Khong agree to Karen's idea.

Jiong da : The poem described how money minded Karen is which many people might miss out this as in the story, this point is only mentioned in the last few paragraphs of the story.

Poem 2
I woke up everyday in the early morning,despite my yawning.I could not find my smile,I walked to the construction site for miles.The supervisor screamed at me to work faster everyday,or I will get a lesser pay.Life was miserable and i had improper meal,I wished people could understand how we feel.If only my parents had not pass away,if only alive today.If only H1N1 did not occur,if only there was a cure.How I wish that I did not have a life that is misery,how I have strike a lottery.How I wish I do not have to drop school at such a young age,I am now trapped in a cage.
